Quotas Approved for Kokand State University
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has announced the admission quotas for bachelor's and master's degree programs.
The admission parameters for Kokand State University for the 2025/2026 academic year have been approved.
In the new academic year, Kokand State University will offer places in three forms of bachelor's education:
- Full-time study – a total of 2,435 spots, distributed by language as follows:
- Uzbek – 2,160 spots
- Russian – 275 spots
- Evening study – 200 spots, all in Uzbek.
- Distance learning – 400 spots, all in Uzbek.
For the master's degree (full-time), 170 spots have been allocated:
- State-funded (grant): 73 spots (Uzbek – 71, Russian – 2)
- Tuition-based (contract): 97 spots (Uzbek – 91, Russian – 6)
Additionally, the government has allocated special quotas in several categories:
- 40 spots for women with at least five years of work experience
- 61 spots for persons with disabilities (full-time – 49, evening – 4, distance – 8)
- 30 spots for graduates of orphanages and children’s villages (full-time – 24, evening – 2, distance – 4)
- 152 spots for applicants with military recommendations (full-time – 122: grant – 29, contract – 93; evening – 10 contract; distance – 20 contract)
