International Webinar Held Between Kokand State University and Abai University

An international webinar was held at Kokand State University, organized by the Department of Music Theory of the Faculty of Art and Sports in cooperation with Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The event was dedicated to the theme “Using Foreign Experience in Teaching Music Education Disciplines in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.”

During the webinar, participants discussed strengthening scientific and methodological cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries, studying advanced international practices in music education, and applying them in teaching processes. The webinar was attended by Professor Yerbolat Mustafayev of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, experienced Kazakhstani educators, the staff of the Music Theory Department of Kokand State University, and young researchers.

The meeting featured insightful presentations on music pedagogy, traditional instrumental performance, similarities within the musical heritage of Turkic peoples, and ways to integrate this heritage into the educational process. Professors also shared proposals aimed at further enhancing cooperation, implementing joint projects, and organizing seminars and masterclasses.
